Dear Nikki

 Dear Nikki

My dear sweet baby boy. Except you are not a baby boy anymore.

You have become a man. A handsome wonderful man, with your mothers beautiful brown eyes.

Sees everyday as a gift and don't take anything for granted, just like your mother.

I will never forget that day, when we lost the battle. When I lost your mother and her sister.

They may be dead, but they will never be gone. And no one will ever replace your mother, what she was standing for or the love that she gave us. Trust me.

I often hear you say you don't got the blessings you need. You lost so much so how could you be a child of an angel? But believe me, my love. If you are reading this, it means you are a angels child, worth more than a fortune.

And that love. Oh man, that amount of love you care with you, and share with those who needs it the most.

How did I ever get so lucky to have you as my home, my own little prince to protect me. Because.. trust me. You saved my more times then what I can count son.

I loved Lilly to bits, she was my soulmate and we fought every battle together, for you, for us. And when she passed, I promised her and I promised myself I wouldn't give up hope. I wouldn't stop fighting.

But with everybody gone, standing on my own two feet, with the world over my shoulders, alone. It wasn’t easy. Sometimes, I’m not gonna lie,  I even felt like I was dying too, along your mother, drifting into thin air.

But there were always this drive, love and power that keep me fighting for my life, you.

You where the reason I kept going day out and day in, the reason why I never doubted my feelings but just went for it.  Still to this day, you are the one I fight for, like everyday is my last, for you to live and be around for so much longer than what your mother and siblings ever had a chance to.

I have never doubted you, lied to you or wished you a different life. Maybe it isn't what you expected it be, but I’ve done everything  in my power to protect you, since the day you where born, and I took you under my wings.

Don’t think I never see you, I do. Every day I come home from work I  see you growing and glowing of happiness and education. The constant eager to learn and succeed, With a value of a heart big enough to fight all the battles in the world. You are the protecter now. The leader of a cult. Our cult.

You’ll always be my prince.

Love Dad
